Monday 27th April, 7 – 9pm, Zoom.
This is a practical and engaging session where we’ll explore and practice some simple and effective ways to support your wellbeing and resilience.
In this session, led by facilitator Chris Brown, we’ll learn a centering practice that you can use to help you regulate your stress responses. We will also explore your relationship with self-care and consider ways you can support your own self-care.
Grief Meets are monthly informal sessions for LGBTQ people who have experienced a bereavement. Groups will explore a particular theme each month, often using a creative outlet.
To attend please email Jackie at [email protected]. Please note this session will take place virtually on Zoom, don’t worry if you’ve not used Zoom before we will email you a guide and joining instructions beforehand.
About Chris:
“I have worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years – delivering frontline services, training staff and community members, leading a suicide prevention charity, and am currently doing some work with Switchboard. I am self-employed as a trainer, consultant and facilitator, with a passion for LGBTQ inclusion and community engagement. In 2017 I completed the highly acclaimed Embodied Facilitator Course, and am now a Certified Embodied Facilitator. I am developing my skills in bringing the body into my work, and using an embodied approach to deepen participants’ learning.”
