We see and experience the barriers in place for trans, non-binary, and gender diverse people trying to meet, connect, and socialise and know that for disabled trans people the challenge is even harder. Our goal is to support and facilitate community connections through safe spaces and networks across the UK.

At its core, The Trans Dimension is a digital partnership built on real-life trust networks. We’re not here to play accessibility cop or judge and jury, we just want to increase access to trans-led and trans-friendly spaces for all of us.

The Trans Dimension is run by Geeks for Social Change in partnership with Gendered Intelligence with support from the Comic Relief Tech for Good programme.

At this stage, the Trans Dimension is focussed on London-based events listings only, however we do plan to expand to cover more areas across the UK.

TransActual UK was founded by a group of British trans people as a response to increasing press hostility, transphobia and misinformation. We are run by the trans community, with the trans community, for the trans community.
We expanded our scope and remit to:

share reliable information about trans people’s lives and about trans rights in the UK, as well as dispelling common myths

amplify the voices of trans people so that the wider world may hear the experiences of a wide range of trans men, trans women and non-binary people

educate people about trans people's lives and the issues we face

advocate for trans people

empower trans people to bring about change in their lives and in the community

Gendered Intelligence has opened a support line for trans people who are waiting for gender affirming healthcare and those around them. We usually operate with no wait times to speak to a member of staff during our opening hours - on email, whatsapp and phone.
