Thanks to our Fundraisers!

We would like to say thank you to all the amazing fundraising initiatives supporting Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard, over this Pride season and beyond.

Have you checked out Soctopus’s new Pride sock range, which donates £4 per sock sale to Switchboard? Team members Emily (she/they) and Astrid (she/her) visited the store, where they checked out the new socks, thanked Soctopus for their ongoing support, and received a kind donation of socks for our care packages. Over the last year, Soctopus has raised a total of £2134.62 to support our charity, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Bouclé are an all natural handmade candle & home fragrance queer-owned business based in East London and Brighton. They’re releasing a jar of rainbow matches soon, which will retail for £12.50, with 50% of profit being donated to us. Keep an eye on their website for a stylish way to brighten up your home while supporting the work we do for the LGBTQ+ community.
Search Seven, a marketing agency in Brighton, is also raising money for Switchboard. Team member Yordan Dimitrov picked us as his charity, meaning we will benefit from Search Seven’s fundraising pledge where they donate 7% of their profits to charities.

They organised pride merchandise, a raffle and a Pride WOD (workout of the day) to raise over £1,000 for our charity, and we are so grateful for their amazing fundraising efforts.
As always, we want to say a huge thank you to all that support Switchboard’s work, whether it’s for Pride Month or all year round. We couldn’t continue helping LGBTQ+ people across Sussex without kind and generous support like this from our community. We’re very grateful.
